Today I went to my 12 week appointment to see how the new baby is doing. I must say I can't believe it has already been 12 weeks. I wasn't able to hear the heartbeat, but my wonderful doctor knew I was nervous about that and dragged her huge ultrasound machine in my room and did a quick ultrasound. The baby has gotten so big! I could see both arms and legs, the heart beating perfectly, and he or she was doing somersaults ( I think he or she knew we were watching and was showing off). It was the best thing to see! It is amazing that 5 weeks ago all we saw was a little blob! Seeing the baby has gotten me all excited. I can't wait to hold a little little baby again:)
