This is the day that our baby girl will be born...unless she comes before! We will be going into the hospital Monday morning and my doctor said she will break my water and she should come soon after, since I am already dilated...hopefully this is the case! I am excited and of course nervous. I don't want to be away from Olivia for 2 whole nights, even though I will see her during the day. I am going to miss her like crazy and I hope she doesn't think that something is wrong. I am sure she will have tons of fun and not even know I am gone :) Anyways I am sure I will be busy this weekend cleaning and getting things done around the house but I will be sure to post some pics when we all return home sometime around Wednesday!

Bounce it out

On Friday we took Olivia to Bounce it out. It was really cool, there was like 10 huge inflatable bouncy things for kids 10 and under. This one was the only one that wasn't completely covered with only one way in and one way out for children under 3 so Olivia spent most of her time in this. Her Daddy did squeeze into some of the other ones with her to take her down some slides which she seemed to enjoy. I think her favorite part was just running around the huge open floor space after all of the other kids! I would have had a lot more pictures but I of course forgot my camera so I had to use the camera phone. I definately want to take her back again, it was only $5 for her to play as long as she wanted and she had a lot of fun:)

Mommy's little helper

Olivia has recently become quite the cleaner...I wonder who she gets that from! She loves to help me vacuum. I turn it on and give her the wand and that usually keeps her busy for at least 30 minutes! If you give her a baby wipe she is off wiping down everything she can reach. My couch always has a huge wet spot on it! I wonder if this is because I used to carry her around in one of those front carriers when I was cleaning when she was a baby? ha ha. Whatever the reason it is so cute and I am always telling her good job...hopefully this help will continue for years to come!

Blankey

Olivia has this blanket that she got when she was first born from one of Brad's cousins. It was made by Carters and is silk on one side and velvet on the other with a fleece border. Lately she has been carrying it around all over the house. She brings it with her when she gets out of bed and takes it back with her for her nap. I think she may be getting attached to it. It's kind of weird to see her attached to anything, other than me of course! One day she just stopped using her binky probably when she was about 6 months old. She is no longer using a bottle, only sippy cups. I didn't take any of these things away from her, she just one day decided she didn't want them! So I was thinking that I would make her a special blanket just like this one. Now if you know me, you know I have never really sewed anything. I think I will definitely enlist the help of Brad's Mom who I am sure is reading this and hopefully willing to help!!!! By looking at the blanket it doesn't look to hard to make, but we will see. I am thinking I will start this next weekend because I really want to finish my scrap booking up this week during nap times. I also have a gift certificate from Hobby Lobby from Christmas. I have not been to the store yet but I can't wait to go!

Yesterday we had 3 things break in our house within the same couple of hours. First the garbage disposal, then the light over the sink (and still didn't work with a new bulb), then my beloved DVR would not play or record. This means that my 2 favorite shows Without a Trace and Law and Order SVU did not record last night! Hopefully I will be able to watch them online. Anyways today Brad came home from work and was able to fix the disposal. I guess a glass broke in the sink the other day and a piece of it was jammed in there. Here are some pics of Olivia helping her Daddy. She is such a Daddy's girl lately. I think it's because he has been feeding her chocolate, hehe. He knows a way to a girls heart :)

41 Days

There are only 41 (give or take) days until the new baby is supposed to arrive! Now that Christmas is over I have been busy rearranging Olivia's room, getting rid of things we don't need and washing all of the newborn clothes we have (over 2 totes to be exact!) I am getting excited and of course nervous, but I have been so healthy and everything is perfect this time around. I wonder if that means Olivia will be the problem child since my pregnancy with her was so difficult in the last trimester???? he he. This weekend I am planning to go out and get a few things that we need and take down the tree and get everything set up. This is of course as long as it doesn't snow all weekend, since I will need Brad's help. The poor guy has been working like crazy with all of this snow. Right now he is back at work and hasn't actually slept more then 2 hours in a row since Tuesday night where he only got about 5 hours of sleep since he was called in at 3am Wednesday morning! Other than that I have been trying to finish Olivia's 1st year baby book since I will be starting another one soon and cleaning the house. I am officially done with work on Jan 22. This will give me about 3 weeks (maybe less or more) to go crazy around the house and clean every nook and cranny!
