Sleep Deprivation

Since Saturday night Olivia has been waking up at least 3, usually more times every night. I am so tired that my eyes are burning! She has a really bad stuffy nose so, she is tossing and turning and cannot get comfortable at all unless she is of course sleeping on top of me. I have her crib mattress propped up on one side to give an incline hoping that would help but it didn't last night. I know she is also getting some more teeth so I gave her some Tylenol, no luck with that either. Last night I sent Brad down on the couch so she could sleep with me at 2:00am because I had already been up 4 times! Help! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!!!

Anyways these are pictures from dinner the other night. Since none of us have been getting a lot of sleep in this house we have all been a little cranky including Olivia. Everything I was feeding her for dinner she was spitting out unless she put it in her mouth herself. She was whining while we were trying to eat dinner so I finally was so frustrated I plopped a huge pile of mashed potatoes on her tray and let her have at it! She, of course had a riot and was laughing and talking after that trying to shove the potatoes in her mouth by hand or by spoon! I must say it was pretty funny, but a mess to clean up!

Wedding Day

To answer every ones question...yes I did find a bra. I got it at JC Penney's and it was about $25 which is not so bad. I also did find some cute flat white sandals with little diamonds on them that looked pretty good and were very comfortable.

Thankfully the weather was beautiful out, a little hot at the beginning but perfect otherwise! I think that day went by so fast, I kind of wish we could do it over again! Which I think is funny because all I kept saying is that I can't wait until it is over. I wasn't really nervous at all. I think it was because I knew that nothing physical would change...like we have lived together for at least 5 years and I already knew what to expect!

Olivia looked so pretty in her little white dress and headband. She was so good for the whole day but of course did need a little nap around 2:00 or so and she slept for a couple of hours.

It was really nice to have both of our families together and to just hang out with everyone! Brad had a good time playing football with Lauren (our niece) in the yard. The food was really good. We got it catered from Papa Joe's, a little Italian restaurant in Gates and had so much leftover that we ate it for like 2 days afterwards! Oh and the cake was so pretty but most importantly delicious!

Afterwards at like 5:30 Brad and I went to the Hyatt, while Aunt Liz and Uncle Joe took care of Olivia for us. It was our first night away from her...but I was kind of excited to get some sleep and lounge in our King size bed! We did end up going out for a little while to a Dim Sum restaurant on East Ave and had the best sushi and fried ice cream! When it was time for bed, I have to admit I couldn't sleep that well and was kind of mad at myself because I knew it was my only night that I would be able to sleep and then sleep in. I woke up like every hour and then at 6:30 am and started watching TV! Oh well, it was still nice to relax and have some alone time together!

The Big Day

Tomorrow is the big wedding day. It is almost 6am and I couldn't sleep because I know I still have a ton of stuff to do today. I still haven't found shoes for myself so that is my top priority. I also have to go to the grocery store, do laundry, pack clothes for us and Olivia, go to my Dad's to rehearse and decorate for tomorrow, and probably a million other little things that I am not thinking of right now. Wish me luck!

Ninja

This is Olivia's ninja face. I'm not sure how it got that name but I know it came from her Daddy. I used to smile really hard when I was feeding her and then she would do it back at me only with her eyes shut, and we would keep going back and forth doing this. When Brad saw her doing this he would say it was a Ninja face and say Ninja every time she did it. So now all you have to do is say Ninja and she will make the face. Everyone gets a huge kick out of it!

Oh and don't mind her cute little outfit. We were cleaning her room and playing on the floor with all of her stuff while I was sorting through and I decided to dress her up in random things and I think she liked it! She was talking away and playing with her tutu. She is also moving much faster now with her weird version of crawling as I mentioned before. I have to watch her more closer now than ever! Today she was on the dining room floor playing and then all of a sudden she was under the table playing with my feet! She thought it was so funny that she scared me and started laughing away!

Dog and cat food...

I have a problem. My dog likes to, no LOVES to eat the kitten food. I think it is more of I will eat it all up first so you cannot have any, thing. Let me tell you kitten food is expensive! It's like $5 for a little tiny bag. So I started putting the kitten food on the stove and they jump right up there and eat when they want to. However I am trying to teach them to stay off tables, counters, etc...so I need a new idea. I tried giving the kitties there food and taking it away when they are done, but then every time I walk into the kitchen they want their food, and like eating several times a day, and then I of course forget to pick it up...you get the idea.

Oh and speaking of dog food, that is Olivia's new favorite treat, he he. She was sitting on the kitchen floor while I was making dinner tonight and she rolled over on her tummy and did her version of a crawl (pulling herself across the floor with her arms) right over to the dog food. Of course I didn't notice until she had a piece in her mouth already, so I took it out and moved the dog food. 2 minutes later she was right back over to the dish eating away. She thought it was hysterical while I of course thought it was gross! I am sure that is the least thing I will have to worry about now that she is getting more mobile!

Insomnia?

So it is 4:25 am on Friday morning and I cannot sleep. I have been laying in bed since about 3 am and finally decided to come downstairs and get something to drink and work on my wedding list since that is all I can think about. This has been happening for like the past week! How can someone so tired all day not sleep at night? During my first pregnancy with Olivia, I was always up at night watching TV at odd hours trying to fall back asleep. I seem to remember that being much later in the pregnancy though. I hope this lack being able to sleep is just coming from all of the stuff I have on my mind and it will all go away after next Saturday and I will finally sleep again!
